Halil Şahin

Board of Directors Chairman

Halil ŞAHİN, born in Payas, Hatay, in 1946, graduated from the Ankara Academy of Economic and Administrative Sciences in 1971. In 2005, Şahin-Koç Steel Industry and Trade Inc. acquired İzmir Iron and Steel Industry Inc. from Türkiye İş Bankası, and He serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Şahin Companies Group Holding Inc., Akdemir Steel Industry and Trade Inc., İDÇ Maritime Industry and Trade Inc., NPORT Maritime Inc., and Şahin Koç Steel Industry Inc. He also serves as a member of the High Advisory Board of the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry.

Nuri Şahin

Born in Hatay/Payas in 1958, Nuri ŞAHİN graduated from Istanbul University, Department of Economics in 1980. Following the acquisition of Şahin-Koç Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. by İzmir Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. in 2005, he served as Vice Chairman and CEO of İzmir Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş., Chairman of the Board of İzdemir Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., Vice Chairman of the Board of Akdemir Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., İDÇ Liman İşletmeleri A.Ş., İDÇ Denizcilik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., and NPORT Denizcilik A.Ş., Vice Chairman and CEO of Şahin Şirketler Grubu Holding A.Ş., and a member of the Board of Directors of Şahin-Koç Çelik Sanayi A.Ş..

Born in Hatay/Payas in 1962, Ahmet BAŞTUĞ has served as a Board Member of İzmir Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. since the acquisition of Şahin-Koç Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. by İzmir Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. in 2005. Mahmut Nedim Koç

Born in Şanlıurfa in 1965, Mahmut Nedim KOÇ was involved in the manufacturing and trading of iron and steel products from 1986 to 1993. In 1993, he was a founding partner and manager of Koç Haddecilik Teks.İnş ve Tic A.Ş., and since 2004, he has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Dagi Giyim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. He also holds the positions of Chairman of the Board of Directors at Eros Tekstil İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., Hacı Eyyüp KOÇ Foundation, and MNK Girişim Holding A.Ş., and serves as a Board Member at Akdemir Çelik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., İzdemir Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.Ş., NPORT Denizcilik A.Ş., and İDÇ Denizcilik Sanayi ve Tic. A.Ş..

Caner Bayazıt Emiroğlu

İzmir Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. Board of Directors Member

Born in 1958, Caner Bayazıt Emiroğlu graduated from the Middle East Technical University with a degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 1979. He began his professional career as an Operations Engineer at the Light Profile Rolling Mill in İskenderun Iron and Steel between 1980 and 1982. In 1982, he continued as an Operations Engineer at İzmir Iron and Steel Inc., a position he held until 1987. Between 1988 and 2013, he served as a partner in İSUZU and BMC Service Sales, Teknitel Motorlu Araçlar A.Ş., and Tekpar Limited Company, retiring in 2013. He currently serves as an Independent Board Member of İzmir Iron and Steel Industry Inc.

Deniz Tamer MÜLAYİM

İzmir Demir Çelik Sanayi A.Ş. Independent Board of Directors Member

Born in 1965, Deniz Tamer Mülayim completed his high school education at İzmir Atatürk High School and graduated from the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Dokuz Eylül University in 1986. He currently serves as an Independent Board Member at İzdemir Enerji Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. Mr. Mülayim is fluent in English.
